Symbol Plus window rattles

I’m driven mad by a persistent loud rattle from my new Symbol Plus window on the sliding side door. The window system seems to be made up from many components necessary for various functions but hours spent investigating and shoving bits of foam rubber everywhere have proved fruitless.  Any ideas ?

As it's a brand new van, I would take it back to the dealer for them to sort out.  Not acceptable for a highly expensive product.

Had exactly the same extremely frustrating problem on my Fairford. Luckily the solution is fairly straightforward. If you remove the trim panel from around the window (stubby screwdriver required for rear fixings), you will reveal the window blind assy. This is held in place with four angle brackets fixed into the door and the blind backing plate. The backing plate is flexible and it is this bouncing against the door that is making the din. The solution is to add a few more brackets to the areas with the most movement, in my case, two at top, two along bottom and one at front and rear. For good measure I also added some sticky pads where I thought necessary. problem solved.

It’s a well known problem/irritation that has been well documented on here in recent years and is easily sorted with simple DIY skills.

Many different approaches to fix the problem, sounds like Ben has got another to add to the list 

Had the same problem with our new Symbol Plus. Marquis Sussex fixed the problem and now no rattles!
