Fiamma Awning Endcaps Tip
Hi everyone
Does anyone elses endcaps go dull and grey due to traffic grime and the weather. I was going to replace mine but the 12-13 pounds each put me off. So I took them off and used detergent without much success so (when my wife wasn't watching) I put them in the dishwasher and hey presto- result !!! - Apart from the fly in the pic !

Yep, good tip there Stevo... better not tell the missis though, cause she will be wanting a dishwasher next
Our previous awning end caps I tried cleaning up but they had gone all chalky looking, cleaned them up with some rubbing compound then buffed them up with some wax, but your method sounds alot less hassle (for those who have a dish washer anyway)

Good tip Stevo
Unfortunately I think if I put mine in the dishwasher they would disintegrate due to age and poor maintenance by a previous owner.Deciding at the moment if it would be best to replace or use some epoxy resin to repair the cracks.
Thanks again for the tip
