Sliding Door Intermediate Stop
There are many posts about having a “stop” to hold the side (sliding) door at some position other than fully open. I have a 2018 Warwick Duo and like others I wanted the door to hold in line with the toilet/shower wall but still fully open to access the toilet cassette. I tried Velcro by itself and it works to a degree but desired something more positive. So in my odds & sods box found some unused Brenton bolt parts and fastened theses in place with the Velcro. Been in use for a year now and it works perfectly. A couple of complete Brenton bolts from B&Q should still make it a cheap solution even if you have some large metal lumps left over.

Re: Sliding Door Intermediate Stop
Hi, as they were left over from something bought years ago I don’t have the details of the original item. However I can tell you the the channel of my Boxer van is approximately 32mm top to bottom and the pieces you see in the photos are 30mm top to bottom. You will need to check dimensions of similar parts you can buy. Hope that helps.

Cancelled post. I misunderstood the method of holding the door open.

I used a bolt at first then one of our members (also in ASOC) showed me his with a rubber block and pointed out there was less chance of damage with the rubber. I looked at his and agreed so ours has been rubber for a couple of years now.

Re: Sliding Door Intermediate Stop
My answer is even more basic. I use a cut down length of broom handle which rests in the upper channel. If you want to close the door completely drop it into the lower channel....hey presto!

Self adhesive velcro, 2 layers thick, upper one shorter than lower one 25 and 50mm approx.
Had these on 3 vans now, never had a problem, in that unlikely event, no holes have been drilled ans the glue will part easily.
