Wireless free reversing camera
My wired reversing camera has ‘lost’ the signal from camera to monitor. I am therefore researching wire free cameras.
I would appreciate info on ones members may have fitted.
Is there for instance one that has a recording sim?

Changed the camera on my 2011 model, fiddly but not impossible

I might have to resort to running a new feed. Just finished routing for a solar panel and that proved a long job to make it concealed and neat.

I really like the one that came with the Symbol, works via bluetooth and comes up on the Garmin sat nav.
I think a lot of the poor reviews are due to the large abundance of cheap chinese reversing camera's that people buy and then suffer issues with interference on.
I'll admit a hard wired camera will always be preferential though as it's inevitable to get the odd flaky response from a wireless, but if a re-wire is going to be difficult a decent wireless option is not a bad idea.

Thank you Tim. Saved the information you provided and one day its likely to become very useful. Sorry to have pressed the 'like' button on your page but my itchy finger wanted to see what it looked like. Can assure others it will not be repeated. It will be said in words only.Kemerton-bath wrote:Have a look at how I replaced my camera in a van the same age as yours ...
