Interior Lights
Hi, new to camper van ownership.
Question is we have just picked up a 2009 Trooper and need to know if the interior lights only work on hook up?
Tried with the electrical panel on Leisure, and Vehicle battery but no lights, am I missing something.
Thanks in advance
Andy
PS I cannot find anything in the owners manual

Re: Interior Lights
Hi Andy
I don't know your van at all but fortunately yes, you are missing something. The lights should work off hook-up.
Are you switching on the control panel before trying the lights? With most vans most or none of the lights work if the panel is off.
It's a shot in the dark though (sorry - arrrggghhhh!! ) because on our van some do work with the panel off, and some don't. You will get used to the foibles of Messrs Autosleepers very quickly - as soon as you realise the owners manual is only good for lighting the fire.
Cracking good vans overall, but they don't keep the manuals up to date. No problem though, now you have found this forum!
Hope this helps.

Re: Interior Lights
Obvious point, but is the leisure battery fully (or even partly) charged? No charge = no lights.
Does the water pump work with the mains disconnected? (it should work off the 12 volt leisure battery, same as the lights)
