Sargent EC480 control panel, CP173, PSU173
Hi,
Thanks to all those contributors from yesterday, your suggestions were very useful!
I've recently had some issues with my vehicle battery on our 2016 Warwick XL.
I managed to get it charged up again by taking it off the default setting and then charging only the vehicle battery.
The control panel, without mains power, is showing the leisure battery is totally flat.
I've just used my multimeter on the leisure battery and it is showing 13.1 volts and is therefore charged.
It is powering the 12v tv, lights and has put on the fridge.
So, I am now assuming that the above control panel is faulty.
In addition, when the mains is off:
1. the step will not work and
2. the Truma's time always needs re-setting.
Would a re-boot (by switching it off) solve this problem?
Any thoughts gratefully accepted!
Regards,
Tim.

Sounds like the fuse at the leisure battery +ve terminal is blown.

All teh information I can reference suggest you should have an EC500 PSU in which I think fuse 6 is for the leisure battery - if that is the case, that is also a possible source of failure.

Peter,
Well done, absolutely right, it was the 20 fuse on the positive terminal of the leisure battery. I've fitted a new and the system is back to normal,
thanks very much for your help!

good luck you will find a simple answer to your questions.
one thing to note is before connecting mains 240V hook up or disconnecting it, always turn off the main control switch , black, top left under off side rear bench seat, behind drop down flap.
we had a few problems with Truma control panel, above side door, showing errors and the like. No problems after following above procedure with hook up. just another thing, side exit step needs main isolation switch ( that black top left push button) turned on to work and if I remember well the control on panel on ( above side door) as well. you will get used to these procedures once you get out and about. check that fuse then go through things a "step" ha ha at a time.
I think both truma and control panels need resetting time after isolating main Sargent black button each time !.? a little bit of a faff each time but if your like me you'll be up and down out of your seat looking at water levels, waste levels, solar charge, adjusting heater temperature because the Mrs is too hot or too chilly etc etc. drives her mad each trip away. Good luck working out front, back , side too side overhead rear, side door, panel light , porch inside outside, main light switch settings at night??

nice to see it was only the fuse and not a faulty ec480 as you had asked. tim I did say on the other post it was the fuse next to the battery and showed you the ec480 well work with this fuse blown
