Peugeot Boxer Symphony 2000 leisure battery
Hello all, I am looking for some advice please. We have had our lovely Peugeot Boxer Autosleeper Symphony since last July. She is 20 years old this year and we are needing to replace the leisure battery as the current (maybe original) one is not holding its charge too well. The current leisure battery is an M Tec leisure power 678, 85 AH. It measures 260mm (l) x 166mm (w) x 220mm (h). Online replacement batteries seem to be larger than these dimensions, width in particular is in the 172-175mm range. What battery types do other owners have of similar aged models? And can the guide brackets that hold the battery in place be adjusted? Do you think that battery replacement is a garage job? Thanks in advance for all thoughts and suggestions!

Certainly no need for a garage. You should be able to gain access by pushing seat as far forward as possible or if still doesn't give sufficient access then you need to remove seat or at least remove three bolts and swivel it out of the way. If removing it altogether have help as they are extremely heavy. As for size, check out Tayna batteries who give all dimensions on their website but make sure your new one has shoulders for the clamps to fasten to.

Welcome to the forum.
My experience is to buy a quality battery ie not the cheapest. It may last 20 years like your first one!!
