cambelt renewal
When we bought our van I checked with Peugeot the details about cam belt changes. I seem to remember being told that it would need changing after ten years or 100,000 miles. i have just booked a service with my main dealer and just asked about the costs for a cam belt, water pump etc. renewal. They have told me that it has a chain drive and therefore will not need changing. I have asked for this in writing and have been told that I can see the details when the van is in for its service and MOT.
Has anyone any experience of this?
The van is 2011 12o bhp Sussex Duo model.

Re: cambelt renewal
That is correct. The 2.2 is a Ford Transit derived engine and has a chain. I have the same.

Re: cambelt renewal
Is it the same with Kingham built on Peugeot Boxer 2014. Is it chain? The Peugeot dealer/serviceplace told us so. But I have not read it somewhere.

Thanks for that. That's a bonus. Now just have to sort out the Yeti. Still some pain to take.
