Re: Rattles in habitation
Maybe that's because several posters, myself included, don't carry a microwave.
In my opinion, mainly because of the way we use our van, seldom on hook up, it would be a completely unnecessary lump to carry around.

Re: Rattles in habitation
I do not have a microwave, or want one, only use the one at home for thawing now and again, never cook in it. so personally wouldn`t work for me.

Re: Rattles in habitation
The most rattles on my 2017 Nuevo come from the push buttons on the overhead lockers, quick fix is a bit of black tack holding the button against the rim of the button.

On the overhead lockers I stuck the little clear round pads at each corner on the bottom of the doors , to cushion the doors, the sort that you get on kitchen house cupboards, this stopped any play and stopped rattles, forgot about those as did those a long time ago.

Yes I’ve done that as well but it doesn’t stop the buttons rattling.daisy mae wrote:On the overhead lockers I stuck the little clear round pads at each corner on the bottom of the doors , to cushion the doors, the sort that you get on kitchen house cupboards, this stopped any play and stopped rattles, forgot about those as did those a long time ago.

My buttons do not rattle, do you have a different sort,? I have the usual round brass coloured with the push button knob in the middle,
Perhaps they were changed in the newer vans.

The worst noise in mine is caused by the grill pan. I rap the grill part in a tea towel which shuts it up nicely!Alan Berry wrote:Anyone know what causes the horrendous rattle at the rear.I'm sure it's the cooker but I've tried packing every orifice without success Also bunjied a teatowel round the kitchen towel holder. It's definitely a metallic rattle.

I hunted metallic noise for months on my 2010 Broadway. It turned out to be the habitation heater front. The vent blades were rubbing slightly on the heater inside. Changed the angle a little and now quiet Well nearly !!.
