Had my original changed by Autosleeper, as the bolts had rubbed through the bellows. New improved design which hopefully will reduce the possibility of the bolt rubbing the bellows.

Does anyone know if the bolts originally fitted were captive bolts?  My mechanic asked me and I said I had no idea, but that I would ask here before contacting Auto-Sleepers.

I think he said that it’s not a big problem, it just makes removing them difficult, and therefore a longer job!!!

Also, is there a specific make and size of dome headed bolts I can recommend to him?  That’s me asking, not him up!

Many thanks

Sally.
The nuts that I used were the ones that came of the original bolts. The dome bolts I got from EBay , but I will let you know tomorrow the actual size etc

Sally,
Got these from E bay. Stainless steel, M10-M12 A2 dome headed Allen screw bolts. Bolt-World is the supplier. Cannot remember the length but there is a choice when you order them. Changing to dome head bolts, just do one at a time using the original stiff nuts . Hope this helps.

That does indeed help.  Can I just check, did you say the size was M10?

Thank you as ever for your help.
