ALKO Air Top Suspension units
There appears much discussion ref the attachment bolts being fitted the wrong way, allowing the bolts to rub on the units. This happened to me, at the cost of £400 to replace both. Does anyone out there know the size of the dome headed bolt that can be fitted instead of the normal bolt?
Thanks

Re: ALKO Air Top Suspension units
I have just discovered this as well and it seems that we have no claim against bad fitting (5 years old). One ALKO unit has worn very thin but still holds air so I have a mind to simply remove each nut and bolt in turn and replace with the nut on top. The bolt head would seem to be clear of the rubber but has anyone done this? Tempted to dome the bolt head slightly in the lathe as well but would never compromise strength of course!

Ride height
The air top suspension on my new warwick XL, makes the rear appear to ride higher than the front, even on the lowest minimum pressure setting. Is that the norm ?.

In the case of our 2014 Warwick Duo, the answer is yes.

Now sourced the dome headed bolts. M10 size 35 mm long, although may be slightly longer than needed. Will change this weekend. Have to say that with the upside down standard nut and bolt the bellows still showing a slight rub , even when pressures are 1.8 to 2.0.
