The tank drains via the blue pipe and tap clipped to the skirt. The other end connects to the flange on the tank via a 90 degree elbow. When dropping the pipe to drain the tank I noticed that this elbow swivels. Is this normal, if so what seals the elbow to the flange to prevent leaks. With the tap clipped into the clip the elbow points slightly upwards so without movement there would always be some water in the tank, if the elbow is held horizontal the pipe is perilously close to the exhaust.

Yes it just pushes on, removed mine and pushed the blue valve straight onto the tank when the hose split.

My hose split from frost soon after we got it. It was close to the join8ng bit at the tanks so just cut off affected part and rejoined it. So far it’s been secure, just remember to make sure it’s empty in winter if stored. Our dealer gave us 2 spare hoses.

Thanks for responding. Have just spoken to A/S. Their advice is to make sure elbow is pushed on tight. They do not advise use of any sealant
