12v system problems
Could anyone please help.
A few days ago i took my auto sleepers warwick out for a run to turn the engine over and everything seemed fine, i went in the back to check and all seemed ok, electric step worked, interior lights worked and the auto sleepers logo was showing on the control panel.
A couple of days later i was walking past my motorhome and could hear a faint high pitched whining sound on getting the keys and opening up i found the electric step worked ok, but when i got in the sound seemed to be coming from the control panel, the control panel screen was blank although the background light were on. I pressed the centre button on the panel and the noise stopped bot still there was no display on the screen. i then tried the interior lights and they were not working and also there was no 12v power to the TV but as i say the electric step is still working. On checking the handbook it mentions the pdu 4m fuse box but does not say where it is located. Has anyone else had experienced thisĀ problem any advice would be most welcome, I am a new member and new to motor homeing. Thanks in anticipation.

Re: 12v system problems
It sounds to me as if the electric step is connected to the starter battery and that the leisure battery is flat. Sorry cannot help further, but my Warwick is a 2014 model and the Sargent power panel is different to yours.

12v system problems
Hi Many thanks for your reply, I have a 100 watt solar panel fitted a few months ago which is set to charge fifty/fifty to both leisure and vehicle batteries, no systems were left running and vehicle alarm was not set but i supose its worth getting the battery checked. Thanks once again.

Re: 12v system problems
Spospe is correct in that the step is powered by the starter battery, the fuse for that is in the interface mounted behind the driver's seat. Other than that I can only suggest you check fuses on the distribution box.
