Recommendations for a cycle rack Empty Recommendations for a cycle rack

Post by markdyer24 Wed Sep 19, 2018 7:03 pm

Hi I was wondering if any one can recommend a cycle rack to fit up to three bikes. I want to gain access to the two rear doors so was thinking about a tow bar fitting. I have seen racks that swing away to the side to allow access however these seem mostly to be from the Staes so,would have to ship. The door options or a rack that fits the spare tyre are an option, but I am worried about the additional weight on the door and the ease off access to the rear if the rack is in use.

I have a Renault Traffic Rimini 1991 model

Thanks in advance

I carn't recommend any particular make, however Fiamma,Omnistor,Thule manufacture bike racks. We had a Fiamma designed to fit our 59 Symbol and fitted a Fiamma 320 rear box on it.
Even though I kept the weight on the rack to below the manufactures limit, some signs of wear on the doors hinges, started to appear within weeks. I did see a photo on who tube years back with the rear door skin on a Warwick torn.
I don't know if any of the bike rack manufactures still make racks for your model.    scratch head    Maybe try asking on another forum .   allthumbz
