Sigma EK Cycle carrier fitting
This is my first post after purchasing a 2008 Sigma EK.
I have now got a Fiamma Pro C cycle carrier ( Thanks daisy mae. )
Does anyone have a drawing or measurements to show position of strengthening bars to fit said carrier?
I assume they run vertically below the rear window.
Auto Sleeper refused to supply the info .They did say that the manual is wrong where it says 'above rear lights' !

I am surprised that they refused info In days gone by they have sent out drawings showing locations. One thing you could do is have a look at other vans. The Sigma and the Windsor had the same shell or with Luck, Peter “may” have access to the info via the ASOC Technical Group

I don't know whether we could get the information, but to try, the request would have to go to the ASOC Technical Officer from a club member.

Cycle rack
Hi Mungo,
Welcome to the forum.
Like you, we have a 2008 EK Sigma. It has a 2 cycle bike rack and the top fittings are directly below the kitchen window. We'd have to look to see if we can find how it was fitted when we next go up to the van, maybe this weekend.
Hope you get your answer before then!
We love our van, it's solid and very cosy, and it will be off to Shetland for 3 weeks or so this July.
Best wishes ,
Liz and Geoff

My old Sigma is still for sale down at SMC Taplow, one of the photos shows a good view of the rear bike .

Re: Sigma EK Cycle carrier fitting
Thank you Boaby. Had a look at SMC photos. Position from outside looks about where I thought it would be. I note there is no sign of fittings inside just below window as I have seen on others.
I had another conversation with Auto Sleeper and they confirm that bars run vertically, with a 597mm centre ( suits the 600mm Fiamma)
They suggest I tap on outside wall to locate them !
I suppose i could use a stud wall detector, ( will it work through ally wall?)

We are also pleased with our Sigma. Just had 8 days in Lake District, first time we have been out for more than a weekend. No problems apart from tripping out electrics when using Truma heater, electric kettle and toaster all at the same time ( schoolboy error)
