1995 Duetto Radio not working
Can anyone help me. We have just got this 1995 Duetto but the radio does not seem to work. In the Ford Transit Manual it says we will need to put in the code. Does anyone know where we can get this from as we have no manual for the radio.
Many thanks.

A dealer will need the Vin number or maybe just the registration to be able to look up the code. If you can get the radio out, there are traders that can re-program it with a new code, costs about £15.
Does the radio light up to prove that power is getting through? If not, it may not be code needed but perhaps a fuse.

Hi Hilda,
Make sure that the radio isolator switch right hand side above the fridge is off if it is on the radio is still live.

Hi there,
Sometimes it is stuck to the underneath of the ash-tray!!
If not, then it may be somewhere in the Manual.
Enjoy the search,

The radio does light up so power is getting through. May have to get it recoded if possible. As someone said I have looked under the ash tray.

Try some of these:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The last one seems to be the best.....you will need to know the serial number of the radio though.........maybe in your handbook or on a label stuck to the radio case (you'll have to slide the radio out to see it)
Good luck.

Radio not working
This is a great site. I have got to say thank you to those who have replied to my post. I have actually now got a manual for the radio off the internet, so I am going to try with that this weekend. If I am not successful then I will try some of your suggestions.
Again many thanks.

Duetto radio not working
Just thought I would update you all on this. We took radio into Halfords for checking and it would not work. He said it could have blown at some time and would cost over £100 to fix. We have now got a new Sony and I fitted it last weekend and it works. Hooray.

To be perfectly honest you are well rid of your old Ford radio. They aren't that good and if you did want to replace with another, they are common as muck and can be picked up for peanut money or even given away (in fact I have a working one here I would have willingly given you!). One of the first jobs I did with my Duetto was to replace the Ford radio with a decent quality Pioneer CD/USB radio.
You may as well chuck your Ford one in the bin because nobody will want it!
