Re: Weather
Sunny morning again, a little cooler, atmospheric mist hanging low over the creek and a heron just flew past. We are so lucky being able to enjoy it and not holed up in a flat in the middle of the city.
Thanks to everyone for staying away, when this is over please visit the British holiday areas again, your support is badly needed, there will be a great welcome to celebrate the magnificent Isles in which we live.

Have a nice Virus free weekend

We had rain overnight, bit of light stuff now but the forecast is for sunshine later. It is pleasantly warm.
Our local fox wanders about our street almost every night and has a daytime route through our gardens via the dividing walls. It often stops off for a sunbathe in a quiet spot and, on one occasion, I caught it playing "chases" with a cat around our garden.

Re: Weather
Sea fret thickened up again. We have several allotments that the local Foxes seem to congregate in.
Lots of calling and howling through out the winter, haven't seen any younger ones out yet.just the parents.

Re: Weather
We never reached the forecast temperatures yesterday and had torrential rain with occasional thunder last evening. This morning rather cloudy and cool so far.

Re: Weather
Another spring like day here, enough for me to get some more of the fence and two sides of the shed treated. The trellis on the front corner of the shed is a fiddly job, it’s all little bits.
The damaged panel can wait along with a rubbish trip to clear the side of the workshop. I don’t think they are really classed as essential trips.
It was nice to be able to leave the workshop door open this afternoon whilst I had some self isolation or fiddling time.

Another fine morning, not the unbroken sunshine of the last few days. Usual early summer sounds, birds singing, competing with the distant sound of chainsaws and pressure washers!

Re: Weather
Beautiful sunny morning but considerably cooler although we didn't get the warmth that was forecast yesterday. Good thunder claps around teatime yesterday , louder and longer than any in recent years.

Rather be back in A&B Bob, it's O.K down here, our property on Bute used to look across Rossie bay and up Loch Stiven , miss the scenery and beaches , wildlife etc.BobK wrote:Hello Boaby ... watching some excerpts from Countryfile last night and there was some about Bridlington. Re: Weather
Lovely morning here. Perhaps after I have taken muttly for his daily amble I might get the rest of the van washed. I can do this bit without moving it. Perhaps I could sort out the black bits on the cab, they have gone grey again. The o/s mirror surround is green from the hedge.
Just remembered our son has the step ladders. I will have to dig out the long handled wash brush.
We have a Coal Tit in our garden at the moment. It was pulling up the new plants in one of our tubs. The sparrows have pulled apart the hanging basket liners. We seem to have a lot of sparrows this year. They gather in our fountain and bird bath. This is very spring like.

Another lovely day here and it’s getting quite warm. After tidy up jobs van jobs yesterday it will be nice to get into the workshop this afternoon. It is nice to be able to leave the door open whilst the fountain is running and the birds tweeting.
Days like this must make us all wish to be away.

Re: Weather
The sun is out, and this being Friday (bet that shocked a few of you) the weekend starts here. There will be outdoor cooking later and refreshments may be taken It would appear I need to earn this reward by doing some remedial or restorative work around the parts that lie within our lockdown perimeter. What I need to do now is see how little I can get off with.........oh dear, I can feel a muscular pain coming on affecting my good arm (think I need to work on that one a bit more )
