After all this talk (and having put off doing mine for the last few years) I know what I'll be doing some time in the next 2 weeks!

Yes - I'll be doing this on my Harmony soon as well, thanks for the tips folks.
Looks like there's going to be quite a few vans out there running around with nice new seals on the windows!

Re: Window seals
FYI the current price of the rubber seal from AS Spares is 3.55 per metre plus VAT. Got Silicone Spray from local DIY store for approx. 4.00.

We haven't braved doing ours yet. Meeting a friend next week who is way more practical. Is it easy to pull the old seal out of the bottom of window? I'm worried I'll damage something.

Just noticed your location Robbit - we could have saved P&P on this - I'm in Northam!

Hello Smithy. Will bear that in mind if I need any other items! Also good to know in case we can share information and possibly help each other with any jobs. Keep in touch. Cheers, Rob

Re: Window seals
Hi all.
Finally got time to do this job yesterday. Relatively easy (silicone spray is a must I think) and a great result.
I did find out though that on my van the seal was a continuous run from the lower right hand corner along to the top right corner. Rather than try to replace the whole run I snipped the old seal at a point towards to the lower part of the left hand vertical and then butted the new seal up to it. Seems fine.
Was this the same for any of you folks?
Did you replace the whole thing? From the posts it sounds like just the lower edge was replaced.
Will need to operate the window to get it to loosen up.
In the end just did the passenger side as the other side seems OK after closer inspection and cleaning. Have remaining seal in case I need it later on.
Thanks again to all contributors to this post for your help.
Cheers,
Rob

For clarification - All references in the posts are to the 'bottom runners'

Re: Window seals
Just did the lower part and a little way up on mine. Butted up to the old stuff as you did.
I also cut holes to match the drain holes in the alloy frame.

Re: Window seals
How mad just been looking at mine, one side crumbled one not there! but neither leaks!?
so will need to replace fully, seems to run from mid bttm rear end all round front end of window and back round top.
Thanks for all the good advice.
