Looking for advice
Hi all
i have joined today to seek advice about the auto sleeper executive.
We have a Vw T4 self converted panel van,our first van.
We love it but need something bigger. We just came back from 2 weeks in Brixham and whilst there spotted an Auto Sleeper executive with i believe is a monocoque body.
I have looked on ebay and have seen several variations. We have about £14,000 to spend and like the look of the peugeot but unsure of the best engine. We would also like to know if it converts to make 2 comfortable single beds. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Re: Looking for advice
Hello and from Leicestershire.
A Clubman is another one, it is on a VW base, and a monocoque makes two comfortable single beds, In my view and many others VW is the best engine to go for, they hold their price and even increase in value. haven`t the rust issues that some do, but always pays to check what ever van it is.
Mark at Auto-Sleeper service dept, told me not to sell mine, the best vans, also economical, only I did as I needed a bigger van and there wasn`t one on a VW, but they are great vans, may pay you to do research on the different base models as well as the habitation. I have just got another VW a Topaz a small one to use as a day van and as my car.
Best wishes,
Margaret

Welcome to the forum from Sandringham THS. There is a later model Executive for a bit more cash on the forum. Our old 2000 Executive 2.5td was up for sale on fun the other week for £14K +

Re: Looking for advice
Thanks for all your replies. How does the vw1.9td compare with the 2.4 ?

Re: Looking for advice
I personally had no issues when I had a 2.4 T4 found it quite flexible but many will tell you the 2.5td is the one to go for
Either should be more economical than the 1.9 and have a bit more poke
If you really like VWs then there was a couple of coach built vans my favourite being the Sandhurst (seen one this morning). They are rare
