Stratford Waeco refrigerator
Could someone please advise how to keep the fridge working whilst driving. Also when parked up and on leisure battery the fridge does not appear to be working ie: fridge light not on and no motor sound, although panel showing leisure battery full.
Would be grateful for any advice.
TIA

Re: Stratford Waeco refrigerator
Sorry I can't help. The Stratford was ,I believe, the only van AS made with the Waeco compressor fridge. We don't have many Stratford owners on here but hopefully one of them can help.

Re: Stratford Waeco refrigerator
I used to have a Waeco compressor fridge in a previous Devon Conversion campervan. It has a direct feed from the leisure battery and if you have turned the thermostat to a high number and the green power light has not illuminated I would check the in-line fuse in the first instance. I remember that the fridge requires a minimum voltage which is worth checking even though you say control panel is showing full charge. The engineer who fixed a fault on mine lived in Northampton so if you need outside assistance I can pass you his phone number.

Thank you both for your response I have asked the guy that does my habitation checks to have a look. Hopefully he can find out
If there is a problem or not. Didn’t realise that the fridge drains the battery very quickly!!

Re: Stratford Waeco refrigerator
The battery drain is horrific and without hookup we struggled to go 48 hours with the fridge which could also be quite noisy when working hard. Hope you get it fixed.
