New and confused
Hi there, hope somebody can enlighten me. We have recently joined the ASOC but are very confused about rallies. We would like to go on one BUT if the rally runs from Thursday to Tuesday and we can only attend from Friday evening to Monday lunchtime (work commitments unfortunately) what happens? Please advise as we would love to meet fellow owners. thanks Helen.

Hi Helen.
Not all of the forum members are also members of ASOC.
Roli is normally the best bet for info reguarding what goes on at ASOC.
Failing that approach them directly.
Sorry I can't help.

Re: New and confused
Hello Helen.
It very much depends on the rally organiser. For instance we are not going to the National Rally at Newark on the Thursday and will leave on the Sunday rather than the Monday. The Sunday night is free so thats no problem but do do pay a lower rate than those arriving on the Thursday.
The rally we Marshall at the Northern Motorhome Show is different as you pay Warners for the number of nights you camp and the actual rally fee is low think its something like £2 so you would still pay that but pay Warners for the actual number of nights.
A smaller local rally "may" have a set fee which may not be varied as they have costs to cover.
As you are within our normal ASOC rallying area it is possible we would meet up. If you want to be specific send me a private message (top of screen click on the envelope) and tell me which rally and I will give you more info
