Nuevo EK - cleaning cab curtains

My wife and I own a Nuevo EK - 2 berth bought new in 2010. Whilst preparing our motor home for its annual Service, MOT and Habitation Check - my wife noticed some small black spots on the lining of the cab curtains indicating a small amount of damp. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so, how did they wash or remove the offending marks? Any advice will be welcome.

I wash mine in the washing machine at 30, I didn`t have any black marks though wash to freshen them up, then had new ones later.
the black marks may come out with the vanish powder that they advertise with a pink cup, and then wash as normal.
