Trident VW front door outer handles

Hi guys, I'm new here.
Can anyone tell me if they have replaced their drivers door outer handle mechanism. i've bought a cheap replacement on eBay and wonder if it is an easy fitting?
Its on a 1996 Trident VW T4.
My old lock has lost its key chrome fitting.

The place to look for any T4 base vehicle related questions is the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. You may find one or two people who know the answers here, but it will have been asked there dozens of times before - though they probably won't have much of a clue about any of the parts added by Auto-Sleeper.

One warning though: the built-in search tool for that forum is poor (it ignores any words of 3 characters or less) so you can often find that using an external search engine such as Google works better.

Thanks buddy, but I've already tried them, and YouTube!! Without much success.  I can probably wrestle the old one off but whats the technique for refitting the new one? I saw a Polish? vid but it was a bit crude. So... there is probably a clever technique, which I need to know.
