Trident 2009 front window blinds
Hi All. Looking at a trident 2009. Seen the pull across curtains on the earlier models, but where are the blinds for the side front and front window? A photo will probably help best to give us an idea.
Many thanks Rod.

Re: Trident 2009 front window blinds
...on the T5 there is the moulding for the storage/CD opening which juts down below the screen line, this stops a curtain track being easily placed along the screen top. Some converters (Hillside is one)just puts the rail a bit lower, which then obstructs the view out, especially for a tall driver. Not ideal !
Most T5's just use Silverscreens for front and side. Again, not ideal, there's always the sucker marks on the windows, and storing them somewhere, quite bulky in a small van.
Some don't use any coverings in the front, relying on a full depth curtain hung from a rail at the joining strip between the cab headlining. If there's a zip or poppers down the centre then it would be possible to still use the reversed passengers seat. Otherwise the whole cab use is restricted at night.
I have seen advertised for T5's the Remis blinds usually fitted to bigger vans but have no knowledge of anyone using them.

...for the definite answer only AS themselves would know....just a phone call away. I would expect the Silverscreens to be favourite.

Re: Trident 2009 front window blinds
Hi, we have a 2007 Trident and have a set of blackout screens from Veedub Transporters. They're made of a light fleecy material black on one side, blue on the other but l believe almost any colour is available. They came with the van and fit rather well. The side windows are shaped for a T5 and magneticly stick to the door frame. The front screen attaches with 4 press studs either side of the front screen and 2 elastic straps to the sun visors. Had them on recently during the day and very effective they were. The bonus is they leave no marks on the window and pack down very small. If interested l can post pictures.

Shown both sides, you can attach showing blue or black. It took me just 2 min to fit.
