Water leak Empty Water leak

Post by bush_mechanic Thu 21 Sep 2017 - 22:54

Hello everyone,
New to this forum. Bought our Harmony around a month ago, just returned from 2,500 miles touring in Scotland.

Unfortunately on that trip we suffered a sudden and massive hot water leak from behind the kitchen sink. I suspect a ruptured hose, but how do I gain access to the pipework behind the sink? It's all very neatly covered by the back of the kitchen unit.

Any advice?

Thanks

You may get access to some of it by removing the fridge vents.

Thanks Paul. Removing the whole assembly gives straight access to the cold tap, and slightly angled access to the hot. The tail had blown off the hot tap. Tried repairing using epoxy, with limited success, so I suppose I'll have to stop being such a tight wad and buy some new taps!

Keep an eye out for more posts from the bush mechanic about things that he couldn't fix without asking for some help!
