Broken Mixer tap Peugeot Symphony 1996

Hello 
I have just got a Peugeot Symphony autosleeper & the mixer cold water tap has snapped in the bathroom sink. It's our first time out in her & we have discovered the cold water tap in bathroom is broke.
We are unable to switch the water on at the moment in the van because water is gushing out the tap. Does anyone know where I can get new taps or better still isolate that tap from the water system. It looks like the thread has completely gone on it ! Any advice appreciated Thanks Sean

Could we have a few more detail pls Sean? Is it the standard Comet Novo tap? where is it broken?
A photo would help.
To isolate it, and replace the tap, you'll need to remove the panel at the back of the washroom.
You will then be able to access the hoses to the taps, undo them and bung them up with something. I have, in the past, used the handle of a wooden spoon with a poly bag wrapped around it and secured with the jubilee clip.

Well what a coincidence.    I have just bought a 1996 Topaz and on checking what needed doing I  found that the Toilet cold tap will not close and the cold tap in the washing up sink is also not turning off when I turn the knob.

The problem on the cold taps seems to be that the knob has become loose and will not stop at the stopper Its as though they are worn and I suppose will need replacing.

Anyone know who sells replacement parts ☹

With the Comet taps, you can just buy a single and mate it up to the non faulty side.
Don't know if you can do that with the posh ones though?

Hi    Ordered new taps from Leisure shop direct and they arrived two days later.  Excellent service and helpful staff.

Taps now fitted and working fine.
