Windblocker: questions please
We're looking seriously at getting a Lilypad Windblocker set mainly for use in winter in Spain but also hoping it would stop us being mosquito bait in warmer weather.
There is a choice of colours and we are not sure what to choose. Are the colours obvious when you are inside ? We don't want to be staring out at a grey world but are not sure that a burgundy or blue world would be much better.
Do they add any stability to a properly pegged and tied down awning ?
Are they really simple and quick to put up and take down ? Spanish winds can be sudden and fierce and, while we tend to roll in the awning at night anyway, we don't want to be struggling to remove the net sides in an emergency. Our first van came with a full safari room which we never took out of the bag as it seemed like a lot of effort.
The videos show expanding poles being used to support the sides. I've still got the scars from the last expanding pole that fell on me. Are these any better ?
We'd be very grateful for advice from any users of these or a similar product.

Hello Quilter, just so happens we have a Lillypad Wind blocker for sale for £199. Used only four times since buying it at the Romsey Show in 2015. It has the inner light grey membrane for privacy and to keep out the rain also with the ratchet tie down straps. Reason for sale, change of previous Broadway EK to FB with larger 4 metre awning. I will be happy to enlarge on our experience and provide further information if you feel appropriate to PM me with your landline telephone no. Also can send photos via email. Regards
