Thanks all
For your welcome - The Van has gone back to the dealer to sort out the problems that occurred on our first run
Details as follow:
The Heater wouldn't work
The Hot Water heater would work
We had air spurts from the taps and the pump makes a noise
And the rest
All in all we enjoyed it despite:
1 Forgot knives and forks and teaspoons
2 Got stuck in the soft ground twice and had to be towed out the latter time
3 Couldn't find the next campsite as the camp wasn't at the postcode (Nexus satnav was great) drove around for ages following CC directions - still didn't find
4 Very tired by this time . Camped for the night late on a farm in the campsite gateway with hookup and water only. Very kind people - had a nice comfortable night with wine. Woke next morning to findl the that the loo was full. There was no WC on the camp. Eventually found the there was a waste deposal (not a soul around on the farm).
Emptied the loo but hadn't packed the chemicals!!!
4 The loos in the village were closed down but the lady in the flower shop (we were told) allowed tourist to use hers PHEW!
5 Got to the wild camping site in Penmon and found the water tank empty. Fortunately had a bottle for drinking and brewing - Came home with a load of dirty dishes

Re Questions
Thanks
Will have lots of questions when Van returned from dealers but in the meantime, does anyone know where we can get some new/old curtain gliders for the Duetto. They are silly things and the cab night curtains haven't any on we have found

Re: Hello from Jumbo
Hello and from a wet Leicestershire.
Google Swish caravan curtain gliders , dealers or E-bay will have them, I bought some back end of last year, also you get the tape if needed.
Its a learning curve but you will get there, ask and you will receive answers.. very helpful and knowledgeable on this forum
Enjoy,
Regards,
Margaret

Re: Hello from Jumbo
Hi Jumbo,Thats a thrown in at the deepend situation.
Apart from missing things, thats common. The water system usually takes a lot of bleeding.!
You should have a water meter, such as it is for your fresh water level.
You seemed to use a lot of water anyway!
Those toilets need emptying at every chance.Pretty heavy when full,i never wait for it to get full.
You do need to watch where you park.Get on the firmish ground and keep your wheel straight when starting off.
happy camping

Re: Hello from Jumbo
Hi Mike
is there a way to bleed the water system or do you just run the taps?
Cheers
