Water heater Empty Water heater

Post by Davidbull Wed 24 May 2017, 9:11 am

Hi all
My water heater has just stopped working on hook up . I have an intermittent yellow light flashing on the right hand dial . But it does work on gas . Is there a reset button or anything I can try to fix ?
Thanks .

It may help if you put the year of manufacture of your van in your forum profile (the Symbol has been made for about 20 years in different forms!) but even then it's not easy to infer what make/model of water heater you have from that because A/S change what they fit on a very frequent basis - so it's always best to say what make/model water heater you have.

Is it fair to assume that you've already checked the fault-finding part of the "Fitted Equipment" section of the Owner's Manual? A/S manuals used to be poor on the older vans, but they have got a lot better in recent years.

Yes should have said . It's a 2015 model . I have all the lights that say it should be heating but it only heats on gas . I've checked the handbook and it does mention a reset button but I can't see it . Wondered if anyone has had this problem . Also can anyone tell me what size the blade fuses are ? Standard or micro please .

Page 9-13 of your handbook should covers fuse type and location of reset button.
