Drive Away Awning for 1999 Symbol
Hi there,
We are considering a drive away awning for our 1999 AS Symbol van. Looking for advice on suitable models and how they are fitted. Also would be pleased to hear from anyone with a suitable awning to sell. Cheers, Rob

drive away awning
I have a 2000 symbol and we have fitted a sunncamp silhouette 225 drive away awning that fits to the fiamma F45plus awning with figure 8 fixing kit.

Re: Drive Away Awning for 1999 Symbol
Thanks to everyone that has provided input. I have now bought and just used for the first time a Movelight Oxygen Duo made by Outdoor Revolution. I got the awning, corresponding inner tent which sleeps 2 persons and a Drive Away Fixing Kit for total of 466 pounds, from Camping International in Gillingham. Delivered next day, free, by courier. All went well with first use. Easy to erect and reasonably easy to take down and re-pack (let's be honest its never that easy!). Used the fixing kit to connect to Fiamma Canopy Unit and also used the over the roof straps that are included with the awning. Created a reasonable connection for the cowl to the van. Cheers, Rob

Fitting the drive awning
Hi,I've just got a 2001 Symbol I've found a sunncamp 225 awning in the wardrobe. How does it fit to the camper cos I don't have a wind out fitted?
