Drive Away Awning
We got a Vango Airbeam Kela driveaway awning last year and used it for the first time last week up in the Lakes. The first few days were not good at all rain and wind all the time, so I can guarantee that this awning is definitely waterproof and windproof. Hopefully going up to the Lakes again in a few weeks time so will be putting the awning up again. The only problem we found was trying to get it back in the bag. My partner has a waterproof bag for his inflatable which he has never used, so we are thinking of putting the awning in this, which would make life easier.

Re: Drive Away Awning
We too bought one of these back of of last year and only had it up once. We did try at Easter but it was a bit windy and I think I need a transition strip with bigger beading.
Regarding the bag,, when we trial erected at home I too thought it a bit of pain getting it fully deflated into its own bag and when folded looked as though it may well go into a bag we put the chairs in on the bike rack - tried it and bingo no hassle so I went on Gardners (Wakefield) Website and ordered another the same

Vango Airbeam Sapera Tall
The secret (we found) when taking the awning down is to unscrew the main valve fully and then as you roll it and fold it you easily expel more air from the beams - it works.
NB =
We have for sale our Vango Sapera Tall - plus extra's
Anyone interested please pm me
We are selling because it is too big for us and we'd like to sell this one and replace it with the "Keal tall model".
With carpet and the Kador strip it came to a tad under £690.
Its just 2/3 months old and used once only - immaculate --Call me
Asking £575 ONO

Drive Away Awning
Hi, never thought what you could read into that. Referring to the inflatable, this relates to his "dinghy" which he keeps on the trailer so the bag is never used.
