Damaged wing mirror
Can anyone help sorry to say I clipped a van with my passenger side wing mirror
The mirror not broken just sort of dangling all electrics work
The case that housed the indicator bulb has disappeared but light still worksCan anyone tell me how to stick mirror back and how to get case for indicator light
Or do I have to go to garage and anyone have idea of price
My poor little Sadie the Mercedes van:confused3:

The lower mirror may be a ball/socket fixing if it doesn't slide off, just pull, like

Re: Damaged wing mirror
The good news is most parts are available for the Mercedes mirror unlike some others chassis, I would try ebay for what you need or just google sprinter mirror parts. As for sticking it together araldite is pretty good stuff.
One tip after it is repaired make sure the folding arms are well greased, when we first got our van they were really hard to push so had we hit anything..... after being greased we were 'kissed' by an AA van and mirror just folded in no damage at all.

Re: Damaged wing mirror
Thank you Groundhog and Peter will look into both your suggestions as we are two women in our very late 60's and trying to do it ourselves

I notice in your profile you have an Autosleeper Deon. Is that similar to a Devon?

Re: Damaged wing mirror
I paid £49.20 for two from a Mercedes dealer. Once I found out how to get the mirrors out it was a simple job to change the lenses. My mirrors slide off rather than pulling off like the ones on the youtube clip but a 2011 van should have the pull off version.

If it had been an Auto-sleeper London and you lived in Devon we could have met up and I would have fixed it for you......

Re: Damaged wing mirror
My experience with pattern parts from e-bay is that there may be a little fettling required in order to make them fit. Also, the pattern wide-angle mirror I bought was not electrically heated but I can probably live with that.
M-B seem to have the clear indicator lenses under the counter, so many of them do they sell!
I managed to Araldite the inner casing of the mirror housing where it had split, it looked rather costly to buy this fairly large item.
