Thanks for your very quick response johnny, they only seem to stock heavy duty leafs for my model and I don't know whether to replace with these or not. Thanks again for that.

apologies for the brief reply I didn't have time to check their stock .callen53 wrote:Thanks for your very quick response johnny, they only seem to stock heavy duty leafs for my model and I don't know whether to replace with these or not. Thanks again for that.
I should't think that fitting heavy duty springs would have any issues at all other than the extra cost. It would mean that there would be less bounce and flex which might not be a bad thing.
If you think about it most delivery and minibus vans probably have H Duty springs but run around all day with just light packages in the back .
I believe its not difficult to add and remove leaves from a leaf spring .
Leaf springs sure are expensive !

I had sagging rear springs on my mk 4,,Had rubber auxiliary springs fitted and it cured the problem. Raised the rear end and really improved the cornering. Not air suspension they were hollow rubber springs. A guy came out and fitted them. Sorry but have not got contact details. Will have a look on line,,BUSBY65.
