Trophy Near-side black trim panel
Hi. Somewhere between Chepstow and Bristol the near side black panel dropped of and we were not aware until we reached our destination. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement please?

Re: Trophy Near-side black trim panel
Auto-sleepers themselves had a sale a few months ago and IIRC there were a few black side panels available then, but I'm fairly sure that they were not for a Trophy - no harm in asking their parts department though.
Failing that, the only possible option is a secondhand panel from a breakers - they were custom made for A/S by a vacuum forming company and I doubt very much whether they still have the tooling available to make any more (and, if they do, a one-off won't be cheap). A/S may tell you who made them (it wasn't Cheltenham Laminates, who made the monocoque bodies, but I can't recall now who it was), if you want to try contacting them directly.

Thank you for your reply. I will contact AS tomorrow. I can't see that it had any function except to conceal the fittings around the window area. Perhaps I could conceal that with some of this black privacy stuff people use. The wood battens were pretty wrotten!

We had a similar problem and decided to do away with the panel ultimately using translucent plastic sheeting on the bit where back of bench was visible. Looked quite neat in the end. See photo.

I've also heard of people getting the window tinted as a way of solving this.
