Duetto Vinyl side trim Empty Duetto Vinyl side trim

Our 2009 Duetto has the 'matt vinyl' on its side panels instead of the stuck on plastic mouldings of the earlier units.
This presents a different problem to the usual application of a Bumper/Trim dressing in order to restore its appearance!
Does anyone have a magic dressing that is not the usual silicone based?
Peter D has told me of his, and I wondered if anyone with a later Duetto (09>) has solved this dilemma?

Would linseed oil work?, I use it on my bumpers and wing mirror frames etc.

I've found that Autobrite bumper trim dye works real well on our newly acquired Duetto on the black  vinyl trim.

Just tried Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber care and after a couple of applicatins the results
look promising. (On using a cloth then straight off with another.)
Will look for the Autobrite trim dye.
