Water stains duetto above sliding door
Hi is this a common problem on the duetto and is it caused by a problem with the window above the sliding door?

It may depend on model, as they made the Duetto on different Transits for more than 20 years! But yes, failure of the sealing around the high top windows is a common problem.

Re: Water stains duetto above sliding door
I have witnessed damp stains above the sliding door and along into the overcab cupboard.
This was on a Duetto parked most of the time facing down hill , and on a camber.
The water was getting in where the plastic roof was badly sealed onto the original Ford gutter , where it sitsĀ , and running inside , (between the inside of the plastic roof and the remainder of the FordĀ metal roof) , towards the front left hand side of the van.
The Autosleeper guttering had to be removed in order to reseal the roof joint.
