Fitting mudflaps on a 2012 Dorset
I have a 2012 Boxer conversion and have fitted mud flaps to the front and would like to fit to the back.
Yes they are the universal type and not "proper fit"
The rear wheel arch however do not have a lip wide enough to fix anything on and wondered how others had fixed these on.
My thoughts at the moment are to take off the plastic bumper and fix some aluminium angle strip behind it to screw on to.

Re: Fitting mudflaps on a 2012 Dorset
My friendly mechanic fitted our mudflaps front and rear, they are not branded but are for the Boxer style vans and fit well. The rear ones are clamped on to the narrow lip but have a strengthening bracket that clamps on to the bodywork joint just to the rear under the plastic bumper.
If you are interested let me know and I'll contact him and find the supplier.

Thanks for that
Worked out how to do it, I took out the screw holding on the "plastic bumper" and used this for one mounting point and then I made a bracket 90 degrees about 4 inches each side drilled 2 holes in one side fixed the non drilled side to the bodywork joint you mentioned with a u shaped clamp offered up to the mud flap to level it up then drill the mud flap through the two pre drilled holes and bolted through
