T5 Trooper shurflo waterpump
Anyone know where the fresh water pump on my 2005 Trooper is located and how to get to it?

Have you searched the forum? I seem to recall this has been raised before and there are 2 or 3 different possibilities in your van.

As Peter says, look at previous threads, as A/S move them about to keep us on our toes.
Ours (2006 Trooper) is under the base of the cupboard on the left of the rear seat - the one with the door that flaps down onto the seat base. By coincidence we only got access to it a few days ago - we had to use a vehicle jack to get the cupboard base panel out! You should find a piece of fabric tape which is intended to help you pull it out, but ours was wedged too tight...

Hi,
Thanks for the info. I'll take a look.
Only bought my Trooper a month ago so I'm not familiar with it yet.
I'm new to the site and still finding my way round.

Re: T5 Trooper shurflo waterpump
Over a year later this was very helpful for me and after a struggle I got to see the water pump on my T5 Trooper. It decided to pack up whilst we were camping but it had been pulsating when it was on. I checked the filter but it was clean. We have very hard water in London and I wondered if it has killed the pump? It looks difficult to get the pump out as the space to work in is so constricted? How did you get on?
Thanks
Anthony

Unfortunately most of the stuff installed on the smaller vans is placed for ease of installation by A/S and not for ease of servicing by the owner. You just get used to skinned knuckles and working in odd positions.
I guess it's possible that limescale deposits could stop a TrailKing from working, but it seems unlikely. I would take it out, stick it on a bench and test it. Sometimes you find hairline cracks in parts which can allow air in - especially on the filter assembly.
