Mercedes Service due
Hi Everyone
My Merc will need a MOT and Service (major B) soon where do you take yours MB advertise fixed price but what does that include .Mine will need> Oil Filter,Air Filter,Fuel Filter may be Pollen Filter if fitted without Aircon,Brake Fluid change which I know will be an extra.
I took my car to a main dealer once and got charged for adjusting the handbrake not part of the service they said. The latest extra seems to be a charge of around £12 +vat for screen wash essential oil and grease and of course environmental disposal of oil
kind regards
Alan

Re: Mercedes Service due
Hi,
I avoid main dealers as much as possible, most are far more money than they are worth and I find they often get a trainee on a job yet charge for a professional. Unfortunately as far as garages are concerned Surrey is probably going to be pricey to start with. I can recommend a garage near me in Brighton, but afraid no ideas up your way these days, to long since I lived there.

Do you not lose your free breakdown cover if you use a non franchised dealer?

Hello from just off Little Bookham Street
I have a Peugeot based Talisman and have been using Leatherhead Motor Company for the past 6 years and found them very satisfactory. Give them a call and they will quote for the MOT and service--tell them what you want done. The owner has a Motorhome--not an Autosleeper!
Also best value for tyres and batteries in the area.
