Re: MOT Failure
I can't believe a garage is having difficulty finding brake pads. I've just done a quick check on Europarts website and checked both 1.9 and 2.4 engined T4 VW's (not knowing what you've got) and they have a variety of makes all in stock. I don't know of any garage that doesn't deal with Europarts.

Re: MOT Failure
Most garages make their own brake pipes, it's something I've done myself in the past, unless it's a flexible pipe, but should be easy enough to source.
Good luck

If they're really struggling then [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] are good for service parts for older things. I got flexible brake pipes for my 27 year old Renault from them at £4.52 each.

P.S. That's a pretty good result for a 21 year old van. I spent a week under mine welding before I dared take it in. Passed though

Re: MOT Failure
Bit scarey ... I thought being on a T4 base that parts would be plentiful - unless being a heavier van they require more robust parts?

Re: MOT Failure
Just Kampers list many t4 parts including pads.
GSF in Bradford are my local supplier and usually have parts.
I get my t4 maintained at the VW van centre Cleckheaton near Bradford. They usually obtain non stock parts by the next day if not sooner.
