Renault indicator trouble + solution
At £41 a pop it was getting expensive to even attempt to fix my Renault indicators until a Renault owners club member told me to try a website he provided details of and where I was able to get one for £7.90 plus postage. However, we didn't get a breakthrough until I noticed that we could move the wiring loom a little from the rear and a little from the front but not in the middle. I narrowed it down to a new hook I'd attached to support the exhaust. The tip of the hook had worn through the protective cover and was earthing the wire whenever the van drove over a bump. I've re-positioned the hook and the problem is resolved.
On a different tack, does anyone know where I might get a handbook on my 1987 Renault Rapport Auto-Sleeper. I've tried Auto-Sleeper and Haynes to no avail.
