Trouble with Remis skylight not winding up?
Has anyone had trouble with their AutoSleeper Burford skylight not winding up?
When i wind it the cable loops up above the handle and the skylight does not open.

We have a Nuevo and the same happened to us! If you look at the mechanism from above you should see the cable has come out of a clip which is meant to hold it solidly to the frame, our clip retaining screw was overtightened and stripped the plastic .I replaced the screw with one of slightly larger diameter and at the same time "locktited" it,and it has been OK ever since [2Yrs]. Hope yours is that easy BEST REGARDS Paul

Keith have just come back to this topic ,amazed I didn't see your a KIWI!! How many A/S motorhomes are there in NZ? And how long did it take to get yours? Again best of luck with the roof ,you could always take it back to the factory as a last resort!!!!! KIND REGARDS Paul

Hi Paul...had exactly the same problem with our warwick xl ;... a loop of curtain wire appeared and no roof opening !!returned to dealer who repaired....lasted a week !
dealer replaced with new unit.... no probs....I am now very careful not to overtighten as it tends to stick to the seals

Thanks Paul, Don't know how many auto sleeper in N.Z. as people were importing privately until we got a N.Z. agent but I know of at least 5 Auto-Sleeper Burfords plus quite a few other models.
My Burford took about 7 months from order to deliver.
Regards Keith.
