Not sure myself, but Boxerman runs the Renault Trafic Motorhome Register and he may be able to help possibly? you may know of the site already?

Don't tell our Chairman that! he'll sack me, I'm only the Mem.Sec.
There should be a sticker under the bonnet but I doubt it will do you much good. Your van is 23 years old and the paintwork will have faded. Your best bet is to take the van along to a spray shop/ paint supplier and get it matched up to one of their swatches.

Rapport paint code
I recently contacted Alan in Spares at AS, he still had our original build notes for our 1999 (reg)/1998 build Harmony which included curtains, upholstery and crockery. He also had the vehicle paint code (a Boxer), worth a try on 01386 842630. The man is a God of Knowledge, if he doesn't know he'll probably point you in the right direction.
I asked him about crockery for a 2003 Dorset and he had the answer before I'd finished speaking !!!!

If Ernie's Trafic is Beige then the paint code is probably Renault Beige 170 but that was in 1988 - it won't be that colour now! which is why I said that he would be best to get it matched at a paint shop, no point in buying X many cans of Beige 170 then finding that it does not match the van colour as it is now.
Unless he's going to respray the whole van?

Sorry if that came across wrong Terry mate! I wasn't trying to do you down. I apologise.
I could have said from the outset that Ernie's paint code was probably beige 170, but I didn't want him going out and buying paint then finding out it was the wrong colour.
I have never been in the income bracket which buys new or nearly new vehicles so all my vehicles have been somewhat elderly and I know from experience that even when you know the paint code, you'll be very, very lucky indeed if it matches after the original paint is a few years old.

Fair enough, I just wanted to highlight to those unaware of the depth of knowledge that exists in AS Spares and what a fantastic source of info that might not be on everyone's radar.
Hope his paint job goes/gone OK.
