Rapport water cap
My Rapport has the water filler under the bonnet and the cap is missing. Has anyone got any idea what the cap looks like, and can either send me a photo or give me an idea where to get hold of one please?
Looking at the neck, it seems as though this will fit:

Will it?

Ah, but it's got one of those already, well a similar one anyway. It leaks into the headlamp when I'm going downhill. There are a lot of hills here!boxerman wrote:Might do as might this:

Much cheaper

Actually, the problem is that it's a bit smaller than a fuel filler neck, so the universal cap doesn't really fit. The OD is just under 2" which is why I thought the oil tank cap might just fit. Like you say though, it's pricey, so I don't want to buy one and find out it doesn't.
The problem I've got is that I've never seen the proper thing, so I don't know.
Cheers,
Richard.

You're overfilling it!richardstubbs wrote:Ah, but it's got one of those already, well a similar one anyway. It leaks into the headlamp when I'm going downhill. There are a lot of hills here!
Poly bag and an elastic band should do itActually, the problem is that it's a bit smaller than a fuel filler neck, so the universal cap doesn't really fit. Re: Rapport water cap
Just as a matter of interest, I emailed Autosleepers through the parts request function on their website. Fast reply, reproduced in full:
"Dear Mr Stubbs
I am sorry but that part is no longer available.
Regards
Alan Osborne
Sundry Part

Not very helpful really, but what did I expect I suppose. Interesting that Mr Osborne considers himself to be a 'sundry part' though.
