thetford fridge in 2014 warwick xl

Just tried the fridge prior to a few days away to Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf.....and its failed again.....thats 3 times parts have had to be replaced plus the hassle  and timetable of it all....I give up.....12v cool box  will have to suffice .
Incidentally...I phoned Marquis  ( A S tied company )   at Rotherham.....40 minutes away from me to try and book it in...................response....did you buy the van from us ?.....answer No but I was told I could get nationwide service.
informed that as the van didnt come from them the earliest they could look at it   ( not repair it !! ) would be end of september.

I was thinking of using Marquis in Rotherham next time (10 miles away), instead of Brownhills Newark (54 miles)
1)      Because it’s nearer.
2)      Because I am not at all happy with Brownhills aftersales and “GOLD” warranty cover.
But it appears they all (excuse the French) P##s in the same bucket.
 
If it’s a Thetford fridge you could try looking on their website for a Service Centre, who are commonly a mobile outfit. They may be able to give a swifter service.

Hi Geoff, Dealers get little for warranty work. Therefore they will fob you off to go elsewhere.
The normal excuse is they are fully booked up .That's a either a lie or it means they have many faults to rectify.
Another indictment of the poor quality control of the manufacturers.
