Rewiring Radio
Hi
It looks like I need to rewire a permanent live from the leisure battery to my new radio.
Is there an accepted route to take ? I have read that others have done the same. (Battery beneath drivers seat)
I want to minimise the amount of trim and carpets etc that I need to disruptĀ
thanks
Carver.

Re: Rewiring Radio
I wondered about this when up-grading the vehicle radio to DAB.
I finally decided that considering the position of the speakers ( all in the cab area ) I would also need extra rear speakers to avoid excessive volume around the front seats when parked.
My solution was why bother? I now use a 12v pure radio powered from the leisure battery outlet which allows the vehicle electrics to be shut down when parked and no headaches with wiring.

Re: Rewiring Radio
Actually having a portable radio in the van has crossed my mind. I want to be able to play downloads etc, so a little research into what is available is in order .
Thanks
