rear luggage box
Hi all great forum I'm a new member and am picking up lots of good tips already we are collecting our 1997 Ford duetto autosleeper on Friday we have no idea about motorhoming but has always been our dream to own one and carnt wait to get out on the roads. I am after purchasing some sort of rear exterior luggage box and a rack to fix it onto. I've asked Ford but they don't do them I've seen them on loads of other vans does anyone know what type would fit ours and where from. We live in York thanks very much

Two suggestions:
1) Have a look at: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
2) Visit a motorhome dealer and browse their accessory shop.

Hi Huckybear,
If you have a tow bar it is worth taking a look at BAK-RAK.com they do a very substantial towball mounted rack on which you can put one of their boxes or supply your own. I've used one for a while and it is a good product and if you wish to use the rear doors it doesn't take 5 minutes to remove.
Thule do something similar but more expensive and not as easy to use.
Enjoy your new van.

If you complete your Duetto purchase have a look here [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
This is our old Duetto with a Fiamma back box mounted on the bike rack.
We bought the box secondhand for around £130 and the rack was already on the Duetto.
