Luggage Carrier
Could someone please recommend a luggage carrier, that i could also use to fit a bike rack when not useing the carrier.
I would want one that fits on to one door only so that i can open both doors...
Rich.

Re: Luggage Carrier
I used a Fiamma bike rack fitted to one door and had a Fiamma luggage box that fixed to the bike rack. It worked well for me.

Re: Luggage Carrier
I have a 2013 Symbol on order which already has a cycle rack fitted - it looks identical the the photo above. Any idea which model of Fiamma box will fit it?
Many thanks

Re: Luggage Carrier
180 will fit nicely onto one door, but they are rare as Ibelieve Fiamma have stopped making them. Got mine through eBay. Word of warning. On the Sussex you can hinge the doors 180 deg, but if fitting a box it could come on contact with the rear lamp cluster. I do not cycle, so I cut the wheel runners to slightly over the with dimension of the box. Would not be without it, all the important " junk " goes into it.

Re: Luggage Carrier
Thanks for that. I suppose another option is a roof box (our Symbol has the rooftop aircon unit), though I'd then need a ladder. I shall ponder...
