Driver/Passenger seat covers
Hi - I want put seat covers on both the driver and passenger seats in my 2005 Symbol, to keep the seats clean and prevent bleaching by the sun - does anyone have any recommendations for suitable seat covers?

Re: Driver/Passenger seat covers
I bought some nice (but dull, black) good quality & thickly-padded with built-in high tops for the headrest from good old e-bay, if you specify motor home covers in the search, loads come up.

Simply to stop bleaching whilst parked up at home, I use a couple of disposable mechanic covers (the covers are disposable, not the mechanics), they last long enough between car services to get some more from my mechanic.

We have used bath towels, held in place with large safety pins. Drape the towel over the headrest and pin it together so that it forms an envelope. We keep these in place all the time and they serve the purposes of keeping the seats free from wear and stopping bleaching by the sun.
Bath towels are available in a huge range of colours and patterns, so you can be quite creative (and can easily change them as required).

We have front seat covers like Green canvas fully fitted to hi top seats, called Pets on tour, or pets on the move. Bought from Halfords 10 years ago and they are in our 6th motorhome and as you can guess we travel with our little Jack Russell.

Re: Driver/Passenger seat covers
There is a local manufacturer of motorhome seat covers in Cheshire, but he also sells over the internet. I've purchased from them twice and they are an excellent fit. They make seat covers for all leading makes of motorhomes and they are an excellent price. I think our last ones were £80 and worth every penny. They even have the cut outs for the arm rests and also cater for the rear seat pockets so you can still use them. I searched high and low and even looked at dealers in France and couldn't find anything suitable. I strongly recommend this company. Check out their website: http://www.motorhomeseatcovers.co.uk/
