Hi we are about to buy a Peugeot boxer autosleeper symbol motorhome possibly 04 Reg that's the facelifted model, I understand they are fitted with the Hdi turbo diesel engine and most are 2 litre, but some had the bigger 2.2 litre diesel engine, does anyone know the bhp or torque of these two engines, is there much difference, also I  understand that the Peuget,Citreon and Fiat all use the same bodyshell and the same running gear, am I correct. I have looked on different websites but not much luck. This is more a question for a mechanic, but as a ex truck driver I know that the bhp and torque of diesel engines is very important. Any advice would be much appericated before we depart with our hard earned cash, as we plan to keep it for several years so its very important to buy the one that suits us.
many thanks.

Taken from Parkers guides..

 In 2002, all engines became HDi common rail versions – a 2.0-litre with 86bhp, a 2.2-litre with 104bhp
